Arduino as a BIOS LPC flasher

Arduino in 3.3v

I used my special USB cable in order to run the Arduino in 3.3v mode:

http://www.zoobab.com/arduino-duemilanove-in-3-3v

Detecting the arduino

At the moment, I cannot detect the chip:

root@buzek /home/zoobab/soft/alix1c [1]# flashrom -p serprog:/dev/ttyUSB0:115200
flashrom v0.9.2-r1028 on Linux 2.6.35-27-generic (x86_64), built with libpci 3.0.0, GCC 4.4.4, little endian
flashrom is free software, get the source code at http://www.flashrom.org

Calibrating delay loop... OK.
serprog:Programmer name "ATMega88 LPC   "
No EEPROM/flash device found.
Note: flashrom can never write if the flash chip isn't found automatically.

Alix 1C LPC connector pinout

From the coreboot website:

1  LCLK0   LPC clock (33 MHz)
2  GND     ground
3  LAD0    LPC data 0
4  GND     ground
5  LAD1    LPC data 1
6  GND     ground
7  LAD2    LPC data 2
8  GND     ground
9  LAD3    LPC data 3
10 GND     ground
11 LFRAME# LPC frame
12 GND     ground
13 PCIRST# reset (active low)
14 NC      reserved
15 ISP high to use LPC flash, low to use on-board flash, pulled low by resistor
16 VCC     +5V supply
17 GND     ground
18 V3      +3.3V supply
19 SERIRQ  serial interrupt
20 LDRQ#   LPC DMA request

The correspondence with the board.h is:

#define LED_PORT                        PORTB
#define LED0                            PB0
#define LED1                            PB1

#define LPC_PORT                        PORTC
#define LPC_DDR                         DDRC
#define LPC_PIN                         PINC
#define LPC_nLFRAM                      PC4
#define LPC_CLK                         PC5

#define LPC_RESET_PORT                  PORTB
#define LPC_nRESET                      PB2

I asked the Mike Stirling what was his pinout of his steup:

CLK - PORTC[5] - ATMEGA88 (DIL) pin 28
/LFRAM - PORTC[4] - ATMEGA88 (DIL) pin 27
LAD[3] - PORTC[3] - ATMEGA88 (DIL) pin 26
LAD[2] - PORTC[2] - ATMEGA88 (DIL) pin 25
LAD[1] - PORTC[1] - ATMEGA88 (DIL) pin 24
LAD[0] - PORTC[0] - ATMEGA88 (DIL) pin 23

/WP, /TBL, /INIT all tied high
Any other pins, e.g. MODE and ID pins, are no connect.

Correspondence matrix:

pinLPC pinArduino
LAD0 (pin3) analog0
LAD1 (pin5) analog1
LAD2 (pin7) analog2
LAD3 (pin9) analog3
LFRAME (pin11) analog4
LCLK0 (pin1) analog5

Status

Right now it does not work, need to try with an arduino mega which runs in 3.3v for sure.
